Sianie's Kitchen

By Sianie's Kitchen, Jan 13 2019 06:00AM

Well folks, Sianie’s Kitchen is finally on the move! Huge thank you to all my lovely loyal customers who have supported me over the past few years, I could not have done any of this without you.

Hopefully you will all come to see me in my new home near Canterbury. It's a gorgeous chocolate box of a thatched cottage, with a converted barn for my business. Hubby and I are so excited to be living in Adisham and I cannot wait to get started cooking up new batches of jams and preserves in our new home (once the AGA is re-assembled).

Coffee mornings shall resume as soon as we are all sorted ! If anyone wants any products, I will also be in the Bexleyheath area weekly so please stay in touch!

We have already met some of our lovely new neighbours, and expect to see more and make some friends at this weekend's Adisham Big Breakfast.

Much love to you all, here’s to exciting times ahead! Sian, Adrian, Jack and Fred Bennett xx

I'm just so lucky, I have a wonderful hubbie, whom I love with all my heart, 4 amazing boys, of whom I am so proud and I adore and a very happy life. This weekend we have spent time with friends, met customers, new & old. Sold produce grown & made by ourselves. Today we're off to our new allotment, with our chickens to continue the massive clearing job that an abandoned plot involves, with camping stove of course so we can make a cuppa when required. Then back home later for a home cooked roast chicken ( not one of ours I hasten to add!) with all the trimmings. It really is the simple things folks. Hope you're all having a great weekend, whatever you're up to.

Well, my first ever radio interview went well, (I think!). I was extremely nervous, but the researcher Lucy, and presenters Sue Nelson and Paul Andrews at Channel Radio were really lovely and put me at ease. My sister Jo (who manages the website) came along to hold my hand, but as she had predicted once I got talking about my passion for the business she wasn't needed!

I took along samples of Hot Mustard Pickle, Glutney Chutney, Loganberry Jam and High Dumpsie Dearie Jam. From the happy munching sounds and appreciative comments, they went down a storm. You can listen to the whole show by clicking on the podcast link below from the FoodTalk Show at Channel Radio.

I feature in the second 30 minutes of the podcast.
